She was also the first female member of the British Medical Association. Helping those in need, Elizabeth developed many innovations in the medical practise and her contributions to the profession and the industry, are an inspiration. Even in retirement, she extended her range of skills to financial and political management, in addition to her medical expertise. She truly was an amazing woman.
